Ensure own lens shows up during video chat

I'm a researcher and I built a lens that I need to use during video calls with participants. When I tested things earlier, this worked and my lens showed up. But now with the first participant, my lens was nowhere to be found in the carousel during the chat. I have it favorited and it shows up in the camera, but just not in the selector during a call. So I already had to cancel that first trial. My understanding is that my lens should be there for 48h after I add it (https://support.lensstudio.snapchat.com/hc/en-us/articles/360031430071-How-do-I-get-my-Lens-into-the-main-carousel-of-Lenses-) and 48h definitely hadn't passed. Does anyone have a trick for how I can make sure the lens is there in the call interface when I need it?

    An alternative way is to save it to favorite. Here’s how 👇

    • Open Snapchat and tap on the camera icon.
      Tap on the smiley emoji.

    • On the bottom navigation bar, select “Explore”.

    • Search for the filter that you want to favorite.
    • Press and hold down the filter.
    • Tap on the star icon to add the filter to your favorites.

    After you’ve added the lens to your favorites, you’ll be able to find it on the explore page.

    The lens will be located at the top of the explore page under the “Favorites” header.
