VFX + Camera Tracking with World Object Controller

Hello all, I'm somewhat new to lens development and am encountering some strange interactions between VFX effects when enabling Camera Tracking.

I would like to have two features in my lens

  1. Use the World Object Controller to place a 3D model in the scene while using the back camera
  2. Have the Optical Flow VFX system running on both the front and back camera

When I set this up in the project, by importing the World Object Controller, Optical Flow Helper Script, and by attaching a Surface Device Tracking component to the camera, the optical flow effects are not overlaid on the back camera and are instead tracked in the scene. Is it possible to disable camera tracking on the VFX while keeping it for the 3D model in the World Object Controller?
