Output Video Resolution on Snap Cam for macOS

I see that there is a setting for camera resolution on the Windows version of Snap Cam. Also shown here - https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/guides/settings/ where it says clearly that at the moment this is a Windows-only feature.

I'm using an Elgato Camlink 4K as my input device for my M1 Macbook Pro. The Elgato device is capable of HD and 4K output.

What is the default output video resolution for Snap Cam on Mac OS? Is it fixed at 1280 x 720? Or does it follow the camera setting? If it's fixed at 1280 x 720 - when will 1920 x 1080 be available on the Mac?
