We have just released Camera Kit SDK v1.18.0 to Maven Central and CocoaPods. Sample apps are hosted on the Snapchat GitHub account. This is the last planned release for this year.

List of changes in this SDK:

Features

  • Lens Studio 4.34 support
  • Support for Custom Location AR (Beta feature), which allows developers to map and author AR content at a location of their choosing

Updates

  • Sample Apps have example of required Design Guidelines implemented

  • Camera Kit staging watermark shown when using staging API token, but removed with production token

  • [Android] Upgrade CameraX dependency to 1.1.0

  • [iOS] Requires use of Xcode 14 or above

  • [iOS] Discontinued on iOS 11 and lower
