Bummed to see Snap Camera for desktop go! So you say, "Continue using Lenses on your computer with Snapchat for Web"...will this still allow people to use on apps like Zoom?

you can continue to use Lenses on your computer with Snapchat for Web, and you should be able to use them on Zoom or other video conferencing apps that allow you to use a webcam. To use Lenses on Snapchat for Web, you will need to have a Snapchat account and be logged in to it. You can then go to the Snapchat for Web website, click on the camera icon, and use the Lenses as you would on the Snapchat app on your phone. You may need to grant permission for Snapchat to access your webcam in order to use the Lenses.

That is a categoric lie. No, you can't use Snapchat for Web lenses on ANY other program as it is not putting up any sort of virtual camera nor replacing the actual one. All you can do in Snapchat for Web is take pictures to post them on snapchat just like you would on a phone.

On top of this you cant search lenses you can only use the few Snapchat for Web comes with.

For those interested in using lenses for streaming or other software, check up the SnapCamera preservation project on Github, it basically recovered the original SnapCamera app to make it work!

Thank you for your comment @Lirik, you are absolutely correct that Snapchat for Web does not support the use of lenses on other programs as it does not provide a virtual camera. I had misunderstood, Thanks for correcting me.
