Physics objects stop floating/falling after few seconds?

Hi there
My physics objects are floating/falling how i'd expect them to do, but after a few seconds they stop and only if i touch or hold the screen they continue their ~journey~ .. does anyone know why that is? Why does the simulation stop running?

thanks @Tariq B , i had to change some of the physics world settings. It works now!
