Legal Terms for Lens Creator Rewards
Snapchat can’t give me an answer, maybe someone here can.
In the Snap Lens Creator Rewards Terms, it says you must be 18 to set up as part of Payment Account Eligibility Requirements. However, the SAME process exists for Spotlight, and you have to be 16 or older for THE SAME account. Why is there a discrepancy between these, and can those 16 or 17 still make qualifying lens?
I’ll put links to the two Terms pages, and the general page for crystals payout.

I think the age difference in requirements for the Lens Creator Rewards Program and the Spotlight Program is because they handle payments differently. The Lens Creator Rewards Program pays creators based on their lens performance and needs a way to distribute payments, which is only available to those 18 or older.
The Spotlight Program doesn't pay based on video performance. Creators earn crystals, redeemable for cash or prizes. Crystals have different age rules, allowing those 16 or older to join.
