Creepy Bitmoji notification

Recently I started to get notifications from a friend on Snapchat and I noticed the Bitmoji doesn’t look normal. I can’t figure out how to get a picture in here but the Bitmoji on the notification pop up is much different than the Bitmoji in the actual app. Does anyone know anything about Bitmojis changing outside the app and is this related to any other incidents?
