First question Following Tutorials

Hi, I'm just experimenting for the first time with Lens Studio.
I'm looking at the youtube tutorials and two questions pop up that confuse me.
-In the Tutorials, you can see the phone preview moving, some people walking in the background. Mine is not moving, is there some place where I can see the animation?
-I added a sphere like in the tutorials but I'm intrigued , why don't I see some shadow from my sphere on the ground?
