My mesh is not showing in the preview, moreover a wierd blendshape is being applied

I donot have any blendshape data in my blend file, even then it is being applied to all my fbx imports. Previously it was not so. And i assume it is the reason my mesh is not showing in the preview. The mesh wont preview neither at External Mesh Weight 0 or 1

Can someone please help me figure this out?
