Lenses Repository and user submissions

Hello everyone,

I have two questions.

1)
When I integrate a CameraKit experience in my webapp, I will only have access to my own lenses right? There is not way to access public lenses that are available in the snapchat app for example?

2)
Suppose I want my users to be able to add new lenses to my application. Is there a way to to do that? Is it allowed by Snaps ToS?

    Great questions!

    Yes, when you integrate CameraKit, you typically only have access to your own lenses. Public lenses from the Snapchat app aren’t usually available for external access.

    As for allowing user submissions of new lenses, you’ll need to check Snapchat’s Terms of Service to ensure it’s permitted. If it is, you might consider using an API or specific tools they provide for lens creation and submission.
